BATON ROUGE, La. – Judson Terry, Building Information Modeling (BIM) Practice Lead at CSRS, has successfully earned his architectural license. At a national level, applicants are required to take six exams covering various disciplines within architecture. Only after those exams are passed and required professional hours logged can they apply for a license to practice within a jurisdiction, in this case, Louisiana.
Additionally, Terry completed his coursework resulting in his CM-BIM certification, making him one of only three individuals in the state with this designation. This certification is an assessment-based credential sponsored by the Associated General Contractors of America, denoting knowledge and understanding of the concepts related to BIM adoption, practice and process.
Terry is currently leading CSRS’ VDC efforts for the upcoming Lafayette Airport project.
